The winners were known at a ceremony held on the evening of November 23, 2015, at the New York Hilton Hotel, with Bassem Youssef as master of ceremonies. Two special awards and 10 Emmy statuettes were presented by the International Academy during the event. France was the big winner of the night, with three Emmys, including best drama series for ''Spiral'' and best TV movie/miniseries with ''Soldat blanc'', followed by Brazil with the best comedy award for ''Sweet Mother'', and telenovela with ''Império''. The Emmy for best performance by an actress went to Norwegian Anneke von der Lippe, and the award for best performance by an actor for the Dutch Maarten Heijmans.
